The Gallery School of Pottstown is a federal charitable 501(c)3 non-profit organization. When you make a donation to the School, you help us in our mission to bring the arts to our community. Donations help us with our day to day costs as well as provide scholarships for students who may otherwise be unable to afford classes. Scholarships are available to all ages, from kids thorough adults. We hope you consider including us in your giving. We believe every child has a right to participate in the arts. Unfortunately, there are many children in our community who do not have that opportunity. One simple way you can help is provide a student with a scholarship. For only $150, you can nurture creativity and self-expression, and start a student on a journey that will enhance their self-esteem. Want to know a simple way you can help the Gallery School and not spend a dime? Participate in GoodSearch! GoodSearch is an online search engine that donates money to non-profits when you search. While you can register for an account, it is not required. Simply designate "The Gallery School of Pottstown" as the cause you support. Search as usual and the School reaps the benefits! While the donation per search may be small, it is amazing the result we can achieve when we work together. (One example GoodSearch cites: 100 supporters doing just 2 searches per day can earn $730 in one year for an organization!) GoodSearch also runs a shopping portal called GoodShop. Simply click on some of your favorite retailers through this portal, and a portion of your sale will be donated to us! Popular sites such as Amazon, BestBuy, Target and more participate in this program. As you plan your online shopping, be sure to remember GoodShop. Visit www.goodsearch.com for complete details. We participate in the Save-A-Tape program run by Redner's Warehouse Markets. It's easy for you to join in! Just sign up for a Save-A Tape card (which is also Redner's gas discount card). Present your card every time you shop. Your register receipt will list your Save-A Tape total, 1% of your purchases. Drop off these receipts at the School. That's it! We gather the receipts together, submit them to Redner's, and they send us a donation equal to 1% of all the receipts submitted.. This is an ongoing program with no dollar limits, so keep those receipts coming! The Gallery School welcomes in-kind donations of supplies and equipment.
