This class will help students identify their spirit animal guide through a series of questions, and then design and create a mosaic with vitreous glass that honors their spirit animal. | Personal essays can be funny, angry, serious, full of despair, or full of questions. The main thing is to be honest on the page, to get to the heart of the matter. This is the kind of writing that sticks with us. In this class, students will create rough drafts and revise up to two essays suitable for college applications or just to hone their writing skills and meet other writers. We will read some published essays and talk about what the writer did and whether or not he/she pulled it off. Writers at all levels and from all area high schools are welcome!
