Preservation framing means using materials and techniques that will maintain the appearance of your art and extend its life span. The glass or acrylic that covers the work filters ultraviolet rays to help prevent fading. The mat boards are made of 100% cotton fiber or purified wood pulp and are acid- and lignin-free so they won’t deteriorate and damage the artwork.
